The quick and easy way to excellent performance

  Did I catch your attention ? – then you may have a problem😉 . The hunt for “quick fixes” and the “new magic tool” has been going on for years and will probably never end despite the fact that such a magic wand will never be found.

  Not that candidates have been missing. The list is long and grows every day:

•ERP systems

•Autonomous teams

•Appreciating Leadership style

•Balanced Score Card

•Lean/SixSigma

•Automation/Digitalization

•Purpose driven workplace

•AI – of course

•……. And the list continues endlessly

Not that all these great concepts are useless – they are not. They have proved their worth for years in different contexts and many of these have now well-established roles in most companies.

  Problem is that we adopt ONE of these new concepts and believe that it will transform our business. Mislead by energized consultants and leaders coming back from onboarding sessions the management team put on blinders and focus on this magic solution. All the daily hassle is now history– our new ways of working will be totally different. All is good until reality hits and once again we see that the old problems are still the same – now they have just had some time to grow further while we were busy doing the magic.
